About our Church
Silverstreet Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized in 1908 with 25 charter members. On November 5, 1908 the congregation was received into the South Carolina Synod. The first church building was erected in early 1909. In 1949 the congregation voted to build a new building. It was completed and dedicated on May 6, 1951. The year 1976 brought much the needed addition of a wing that included administrative space, Sunday School classrooms, a Fellowship Hall, a kitchen, storage space, and restrooms.
If you are looking for a church that is filled with people who truly love the Lord and embrace all his children, we invite you to join us for worship service. Sunday School beings at 10:00am followed by our worship service at 11:00 AM
If you are looking for a family oriented church that allows your children to participate and feel the love of Christ from the youngest to the oldest member we invite you to join us in worship, youth activities, Sunday School and
member outings.
May God richly bless you with his peace until we meet
